Arlington National Cemetery: Washington D.C. is a mix of History and Memory. Arlington National Cemetery has 624 acres of markers belonging to veterans and military casualties from every war of our nation’s history. There are places where graves extend literally as far as your eyes can see into the hills. Your group will be reminded of the tremendous sacrifice that has been made for our freedom here in America when they visit Arlington.
The White House: Probably the most famous house in the world, the White House, of course, houses our nation’s leader, the president of the United States. Come and see the icon of our country that has stood the test of time and trial over the years. The White House includes a tennis court, bowling alley, movie theater, jogging track, swimming pool, and putting green. This is not to be missed!
Smithsonian: Cutting to the chase, this is the largest museum complex in the world with exhibits covering everything from American History to Space and Flight Travel to Animals and wildlife. There is too much to see at the Smithsonian to see in ten trips. Take in what you can and marvel in amazement.
Other Activities: There is so much to do in Washington D.C. that this page is not enough to even begin to contain it all. National Treasures and Monuments include the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Monticello, Colonial Williamsburg, Embassy Row, the Library of Congress, Ford’s Theater, the Illuminated Monument and so much more.
