San Antonio, Texas
Downtown and The Alamo: There’s just something about the Riverwalk at San Antonio that draws the masses. Many debate as to whether it’s popularity can be attributed to the amazing food, the fun shopping, or the beautiful lights strung along side of the river. What is for sure is that you will not regret the time spent in downtown San Antonio. From the Historic Alamo to the Riverboat Cruise, this is a great place!
Tower of the Americas: Towering at almost 750 feet with a restaurant, 4-D Theater ride, and gift shop, the Tower of the Americas is an icon of the San Antonio skyline. You will be amazed by the view from the top which offers a panorama of the entire city. Don’t come to San Antonio without seeing the Tower of the Americas.
San Antonio Zoo: While in San Antonio, your group will want to stop by and check out the 56-acre San Antonio Zoo which houses over 3,500 animals. The zoo includes an African Life exhibit as well as a special exhibit for hippos and crocodiles with underwater viewing. This zoo is always fun for everybody no matter who they are.
Other Activities: Other activities include but are not limited to a meal at the Hard Rock Café, Magic Time Machine, and shopping time at the Rivercenter Mall. You can spend an entire day at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels or at Seaworld or even Fiesta Texas. Ripley’s Believe it or Not is always an old favorite that will intrigue everybody with their exhibits of bizarre phenomena and crazy happenings. Like natural wonders? Head over to Natural Bridge Caverns, a beautiful cave located underneath a “natural” land bridge that sinks to 211 feet deep. San Antonio is by far a Troubadour Favorite and we never hear anything but good reports and excitement after sending a group to this great city of amusement and history.
