How it all began…
After Traveling with their own bands across the United States and many locations around the globe, John and Amber Mize had a vision to give music educators, church, family and corporate groups the same, unique, custom planning and value for their money that they had brought to their own groups for so long. They had seen, far too often, how some travel companies would pull a pre-arranged trip out of the files with no consideration for the individual needs of a group.
Furthermore, those very same companies would treat their
customers like just another account rather than a colleague or partner
in the travel experience. Before the vision for the company ever came
to be, people repeatedly commented on how well John and Amber planned
the trips and how great the experiences were for all of the members.
Once the vision appeared, Troubadour Consultants, LLC was founded on
the principles of meticulous attention to detail, working harder for
less and unending flexibility with the customer.
John and Amber work up to the minute a group returns home from a trip to ensure the most enriching and hassle free experience possible. John spends much time with customer relations, planning and arranging the itinerary while Amber, skillfully, manages the accounts, travel documentation, “group friendly” payment plans, staff management as well as many other roles and activities. From the beginning, the very name itself, “Troubadour Consultants, LLC” implied that many active, semi-retired, retired music educators and professionals would be utilized in a myriad of consultant roles to serve the needs of our customers.
The strength of the company is cemented by the variety and
experience levels of the many consultants that Troubadour employs for
advisory consultation, tour guides, clinicians, motivational seminars,
and much more. It’s been almost a decade and thousands of happy
customers since the first group, The Mighty Eagle Band from Canton, TX
traveled with Troubadour Consultants, LLC. We are grateful and humbled
that we have so many repeat customers that pass the word about how
Troubadour does business and that our most important goal is to give
our groups the best possible chance for a successful journey with more
enrichment than they had imagined when they signed on to travel with
Troubadour. It is our great honor to serve our friends and colleagues
and we look forward to many, many more miles.
